Old Threshers field trip

We had a wonderful day in Mount Pleasant at the Old Threshers museum!  Antique dolls, agricultural heritage, vintage cars/tractors/trains, a working old grain mill, trolley, carousel, log village and more!

Shadow the Guinea Pig

Hi this  is Abbi and Rose. Our class just got a pet guinea pig! Our class named it Shadow.  He is mostly black with some brown and white.  He has a green igloo and a red tube in his cage.  He loves to be held.  One time Mrs. Abbott was holding Shadow and Shadow went to the  bathroom  on Mrs.Abbott!  IT WAS GROSS!

Neurology Presentation

Dr. Alex Bassuk, Neurologist and Horn parent, stopped by this afternoon to talk to us about THE BRAIN!! He told us how important the brain is and what part it plays with our five senses. Several student volunteers went up to try out a “brain test”, similar to those that Dr. Bassuk performs on his patients.  We really appreciate him coming and teaching us more about the human body.  More pictures

What's in the bag?
